NCD Standards Review Process
NCD Review Drive for Email Petitions - Jessica Garza and Bert Hargesheimer are soon to meet with Councilwomen Chan and Taylor to request their support of the MPNA application to the City of San Antonio for a review of the MP NCD. If selected, our NCD would be the first to be reviewed by the City and would afford us the opportunity to review the relevance of existing NCD standards, and alter our design standards for our neighborhood as established in the review process.
We would like to have your support for our application to the city. You can show your support for a review of our current NCD by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , subject line should read: I support a review of MP NCD. Your show of support is simply for the application for review which may or may not be accepted by the city. ** Please understand that there are no specific design standards yet established beyond what our current NCD contains - all design standards would go through a rigorous and public review before being added to or removed from the current NCD.**
There will be no general meeting in August or October. Please remember to coordinate block parties and neighborly gatherings in recognition of Neighborhood Night Out Against Crime Oct. 6th.
MPNA Has a New President
Suzanne Biase resigned as President of the MPNA effective 7/20/10 due to her relocation. Her commitment to and zeal for serving our community will be missed. Bert Hargesheimer assumed her position as President and has appointed Tina Troust as the new Board Member to fill the vacant spot. Ruth Rodriguez has graciously accepted the position of Secretary effective immediately.
